April/May 2025: NEW Petit Manseng and Jacob Christopher Chardonnay

This club release features the triumphant return of a brand-new 2024 Petit Manseng and the bright and lively 2022 Jacob Christopher Chardonnay.

NEW Release! 2024 Petit Manseng: Petit Manseng makes a graceful return to the RFFW portfolio, offering a beautifully expressive snapshot of this unique varietal. This wine was crafted with care—grapes were whole-cluster pressed without crushing, and the juice was cold-settled for 24 hours before being racked off the heavy solids. A slow, temperature-controlled, cold fermentation was maintained in order to express this natural acidity and primary fruit characteristics of Petit Manseng.

Pale lemon in appearance with medium (+) intensity on the nose, this wine shows primary youthful characteristics of citrus and stone fruits; grapefruit, lemon, nectarine, and peach.

On the palate, it is dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, and a medium body. The medium (+) flavor intensity opens with bright citrus—lemon and grapefruit—then unfolds into stone fruit like crunchy nectarine and juicy peach, with a hint of tropical pineapple.

The finish is long, driven by citrus and wet stone, leaving a vibrant, fresh impression. Drink now and enjoy its lively, fruit-forward personality.

2022 Jacob Christopher Chardonnay: Drop your Chardonnay preconceptions. This Virginia Chardonnay is NOT an over-oaked butter bomb. It is bright and lively. This wine is unoaked and crafted completely in stainless steel to preserve the fresh and vibrant fruit character. It is assertive and well-structured with a crisp, clean finish.
