Though the grapes and blend shift with each vintage, the heart of Sumerduck Rosé remains the same—an approachable, fruit-forward wine that captures the joy of each season and the character of our Virginia farm. This release continues that legacy with a playful, polished profile designed to delight both long-time fans and first-time tasters.
2024 Select Red
This bold, balanced blend of 50% Chambourcin, 37% Petit Verdot, and 13% Cabernet Franc is a celebration of both innovation and tradition. Each varietal contributes something special: Chambourcin brings juicy, dark berry fruit and a hint of spice; Petit Verdot adds deep color, structure, and floral aromatics; and Cabernet Franc ties it all together with elegance and lift. The result is a wine that’s both approachable and complex, with notes of blackberry, plum, baking spice, and mocha unfolding into a smooth, lingering finish. It’s a versatile companion for everything from smoky barbecue to quiet evenings with a good book.
